Algonquin Park Seminar

A small but enthusiastic group gathered at the East Beach Picnic Pavilion on Sept 25 for the Four Seasons RVing Seminar. The building with windows all the way around and its two fireplaces with knotty pine interior is an ideal setting for the seminar.

Seminars will also be held at MacGregor Point and Pinery Provincial Parks.

Pukaskwa National Park: Four Seasons RVing Seminar - Update

We are pleased to announce that the specific location of this year's seminar at Pukaskwa National Park in N.W.Ontario Canada has been adjusted:

Date: June 12, 2010 (unchanged)
Time: 8:40 a.m to 5:30 pm. (unchanged)

Location: By moving the seminar to the Administration Building, the participants will not longer need to be concerned about requiring a day permit to access the park.

2010 Four Seasons RVing Seminars

In response to many requests to have a one day seminar, we have reformatted the seminar. Each Four Seasons RVing Seminar will be held from 9:00 a.m. through to 5:30 p.m. (Please check in 20 minutes ahead of time) Check out the location most suitable for you. Extend your RVing experience to include more opportunities - let us show you how it is done. Team up the seminar with our book for all the latest ideas.

1. Pukaskwa National Park: Jun 12, 2010 (near Marathon, ON)
2. Algonquin Provincial Park: September 25, 2010 (Whitney, ON)
3. MacGregor Point Provincial Park: October 23, 2010 (Port Elgin, ON)

Four Seasons RVing Seminar - Pinery Prov. Park.

November 6-7 Four Seasons RVing Seminar included all these people plus a few others who were not in the room at the time the picture was taken. The Pinery Provincial Park is one of the Ontario Parks that will have winter campsites available for RVers complete with open comfort station that is fully operational with water access, laundry facilities, showers, and rest room. Electrical campsites are available.

MacGregor Point Seminar Oct 23-24, 2009

This seminar had to be rescheduled for various reasons including the fact that a number of people came down with the flu. Participants have been asked to consider signing up for the next seminar to be held at the Pinery Provincial Park near Grand Bend, ON. Seminar will be held on November 6-7, 2009.

We regret any inconvience that this may have created.

The 12 of us gather at the East Beach Picnic Pavilion in Alqonquin Park for the 2009 Four Seasons RVing Seminar. We had a great time exchanging ideas and information. It appears we have a few more people willing to try extending their RVing season by weeks and possibly months in the future. All the best participants, we enjoyed having you participate in the seminar.

We are currently in discussion with the Friends of Pukaskwa National Park to conduct one of our "Four Seasons RVing Seminars". Dates are June 26-27th 2009 weekend.

Where is Pukaskwa National Park? North Shore of Lake Superior midway between Saulte Ste.Marie and Thunder Bay - near Marathon, Ontario. The road is paved all the way into the park from the main hwy. Workshop will be held in the Adminstration office.

For those who are familiar with Pukaskwa, the park has been making significant improvements to the campsites over the winter and spring season, including brushing, better access for larger units, and a number of other improvements.

MacGregor Point - space is still available. (October 24-25, 2008)

Pinery Notice dated October 15: Workshop being rescheduled for 2009. There was confusion regarding whether or not the campground is open due to the comfort stations being modernized and the fact that the park is closing for winter camping other than the yurts.

Those interested in doing some off season camping can still camp at MacGregor Point Provincial Park, Algonquin Park (Mew Lake Camp ground) or Valens Conservation Area (Hamilton Conservation Authority)

Join the adventure and join the fun.... all types of RVs with their happy campers, are doing it !!!!!!!!!!

Already have an RV, or thinking about getting your own RV, then this workshop is for you, whether you have a truck camper, motorhome (Class A unit), Van (Class B unit), Class C unit, pull behind trailer, or 5th Wheel Unit. This workshop is designed for you.

Our focus is primary on the non summer camping season but included in the workshop are helpful hints that can be used any time of the year!

Algonquin Park will be busy with RVers learning ways to extended their camping season on September 26th and 27th, 2008 at the East Beach Pavilion, Lake of Two Rivers. More details to follow in a few weeks.

Watch for additional announcements regarding workshops at the Pinery Provincial Park and MacGregor Point Provincial Park.

All the workshops are similar in nature, with differences based on the needs of the participants and questions they ask. Content will include new material for 2008.
